As a seasoned agency, we offer a full list of Home care services performed in the comfort of our client’s residences that foster independence, safety, and wellness. Each service is provided by an attentive, patient caregiver who is trained to perform their duties, which include the following:
Housekeeping/Companion Care
For many clients, companion care is vital to combating isolation and maintaining a high quality of life. We help our clients complete household chores and pet care tasks, attend social events, get to appointments, and much more.
Memory Care
Clients with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia and their loved one can gain peace of mind knowing that a trusted caregiver is available to help. Our caregivers are experienced in helping residents in need of memory care service.
Personal Care
Many clients benefits from personal care assistance. This ranges from bathing and toileting to personal hygiene and dressing. Our caregivers may also help with mobility, transfers, meal preparation, and other tasks.
Medication Services
For clients who take prescription medicine and supplements, having someone to assist can be essential. Our medication services include administration and creating Medi-Sets to aid in organization. We also help ensure our clients remember to take their medication on time and as instructed by their healthcare provider.
Nursing Services
Our nursing services help clients maintain their heath and overall wellness. We conduct assessments, coordinate with client’s providers, and help with medication management.
Our Commitment to Quality Assurance
Serenity Home Care is licensed by the Health Care Regulation and Quality Improvement (HCRQI) program from the Oregon Health Authority (OHA). We meet the requirements of division 536 of the Oregon Administrative Rules as a Comprehensive In-Home Care Agency. Our team includes certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and those with long-term care experience and/or online state training. All caregivers are CPR and first aid certified.
Our agency is also a member of the Oregon Health Care Association (OHCA). This organization offers continuing education opportunities that our employees use to refine their skills. This helps ensure we’re providing the best home care services possible and each is guided by the most current insights and information.
